Helena Vendová

She studied at the Secondary Art School in Prague (1981-1984), attended also courses by Jiří Patera in the Pilsen Luna and M욝anská Beseda, where her father Bronislav Losenický brought her. She works as a graphic artist in the field of printing and teaches at the Elementary Art School of Bedřich Smetana in Pilsen. In her free work she works with painting, drawing, illustrations and graphic design of prints, she lives and works in Pilsen, she is a member of P 89 group. Painting, color-oriented art, predominates landscape painting and still life. He has achieved great achievements in drawing using frottage (the prize at the International Biennale of Drawings in Pilsen in 2000), he is particularly interested in the characteristic detail of the texture of the bark of trees or wood rings. She has been a soloist since the end of the 1980s, with V. Venda in Starý Plzenec (1987) and in Pilsen-Luna (1989), the Esprit Gallery (2001), the Jiří Trnka Gallery in Plzeň and the Špillar Brothers Gallery in Domažlice (2001), Czech Radio Pilsen (2003), Tachov City Gallery (2010) and other places. He is particularly exposed by the P 89 group and the thematic collections of the Gallery of the City of Pilsen (Kolorismus, Jiří Patera and his school in Pilsen, 2003, Les, 2005). Her works are represented in the collections of the gallery of the West Bohemian Gallery in Plzeň, the Špillar Brothers Gallery in Domažlice, and other public and private collections.
